Do you ever feel like there are so many things you want to teach your kids about our faith, but you don't know where to start or how to fit it all in? Check out the New Testament volume of our newest addition to our homeschool products, Faithipedia: Daily Apologetics for Families! As you might guess from its name, this easy-to-use flipbook is PACKED with knowledge about our faith and our God all in one place.
Discussing big truths in manageable, bite-sized lessons, each five-day unit covers 27 weeks and includes an overview of a book of the New Testament, a snapshot of God's timeline, a related attribute of God, a discussion of a theological term, and a true story of a faithful man or woman of God.
While one flipbook is perfect for teaching your whole family, make sure you grab a Faithipedia Journal for each of your children so they can apply what they learn daily by working through their own age-specific activities and journaling prompts!
Written from a young-earth perspective, this carefully planned and researched apologetics resource will help you cultivate a strong biblical worldview so you can stand firm in your faith!
DAILY SECTIONS
The God's Books section will walk your family through each book of the New Testament. You'll learn the basics, such as when each book was written and what we know about the author. Then, you'll dive deeper and read about the book's theme and how we can see God's hand moving throughout the Bible.
The God's Words section defines and explains the words that we use all the time in church but often forget to talk about with our kids. As you explore this section, you'll take a look at where to find these words and ideas in the Bible and explore similar concepts found in other areas of Scripture.
Each week, the God's Stories section will inspire and encourage you as you read about the lives of faithful, devoted followers of Christ. Learn more about their walks with the Lord, their trials, and the victories they found in God on their journeys.
Finally, God's Timeline will show your family God's work as it's woven all throughout the history of the world. Find out where major events and biblical accounts occurred as you study through each book of the Bible.
Adding Faithipedia to your morning basket is a wonderful way for your family to add apologetics to your daily studies! As you sit together, you'll read through the section for the day. Then, discuss what you've learned as your kids complete their journal section for the day!
Can't work through Faithipedia with your family in the morning? No worries! Family devotion time after dinner or before bed is a wonderful time for apologetics study! Gather everyone together and read through the Faithipedia Flipbook each day, then follow up with your daily journal pages!
Take your Faithipedia learning to the next level with our Faithipedia New Testament Journal! Serving as a "trail guide" for the flipbook, this journal includes prompts, activities, stickers, and questions to help your kids dig deeper and apply the truth they have learned in the flipbook.
While one flipbook will engage and involve all your kids at once, our journals are specifically designed for different age levels so that each of your kids can have the resources they need to work through what they are learning. Excited by the colorful, interactive follow-ups for each day, your kids will love working through their own journals as they make their way through the Faithipedia New Testament Flipbook!
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.
If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
This is a very easy way to learn more about the Bible and about Christian Apologetics in a way that's friendly for the whole family.
We used the flip book and journals in conjunction with Old Story New, and they were excellent. Our kids were 2, 5, and 8. The journals were a bit much for our boys who just aren't that into coloring and stickers, but I still think they helped the boys remember the content. (I did wish they'd had a toddler journal for our little girl who kept wanting to take her brother's stickers. :-P) Our church's kid's program was covering names of God that year, so it was fantastic to have the built-in review with the flip book. We were covering the Middle Ages and European History that year as well, and many of the people learned about in God's Stories also came up in history. It was great. Looking forward to using the OT flip book in coming years!
You learn so much in just a short amount of time each day!
Beautiful! Excellent quality and great design. The whole family is enjoying it.
What a wonderful way to introduce young one's to God's word, and create wonderful discussion for older one's including myself! The Bible and all it contains is presented in perfect bite sized chunks that does not overwhelm young children while challenging older children to have thoughtful discussion. Love the addition of stories of people who are followers. What a great way to show my children how to live like Jesus.
We love these flip charts. The layout and presentation make it easy and enjoyable to learn more about the context of each New Testament book. I especially love seeing where each book lands in the broad context of history, and I want my kids to have at least a general understanding of each book’s author and background. Highly recommend!
This and accompanying journal books are such a great resource! I absolutely love it!
We are currently working our way through the Old Testament Faithipedia and I'm excited to move on to this one. I love the different sections. My daughter's favorite section is the people.
We added this to our mornings as part of our homeschooling. I am loving it so far. It is such a great way to lay a biblical foundation to each day and create a love for reading and studying our bibles. It doesn't consume a lot of time, but every days section has value in the content. My homeschoolers range from 12 - 17, and this is perfectly adaptable to all three of them at their current learning levels.
